South Africa Energy Metallurgical Special Economic Zone Project Investment Road Show concluded successfully

The project investment roadshow sponsored by the South African Department of Trade and Industry(DTI), the Limpopo Economic Development Agency(LEDA), and undertook by South African Energy Metallurgical SEZ Operator-South Africa Energy Metallurgy Base Co., Ltd.,was held in Beijing,Taiyuan and other places in China from April 16 to April 21, 2018. The road show team went to China Huadian, PowerChina, EnergyChina, MCC, China Railway Construction Group-CCECC, Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Energy International Co., Ltd., Nanguo Hongdou Holdings Co., Ltd., Tianjie Group Co., Ltd. and Weishun Enterprise Holdings Co., Ltd. and carried out investment promotion for the SEZ projects, and discussed the integration of South African mineral resources, and the opportunities that provided by the Belt and Road and China-Africa capacity cooperation to accelerate the construction of the SEZ. After the road shows, under the witness of the South African DTI, the SEZ operator and the LEDA successfully signed MOUs on the projects investment cooperation with the above-mentioned enterprises. The parties agreed to work together, complement each other and strengthen the alliance to create the world's most Competitive ferro- chrome/manganese alloy base.
